Hello,

I am on the journey that is installing Linux for the first time. I want to install Linux on a computer that has Win 95 on it now. I have downloaded Red Hat 7.1 and have the ISO files. Sorry for the newbie question, but how do I put the ISO on a CD? I use Nero to burn CD's. How do I make the CD? do I just put the file onto a CD or what ? Please help.

Thanks,
Mike

An ISO is like the data for most CDs. Nero should have an option similer to 'Burn From CD Image' somewhere.

So simply put, WHATEVER YOU DO DONT BURN THE ISO ONTO THE CD AS YOU WOULD A FILE. Thats a waste of time and a CD.
