Ok. I have a Pentium 200MMX at home with 64MB RAM. It is currently an NT Server (I just use it for file/print sharing.

I have read a lot, and am going to blow away NT Server and install Mandrake.

Any useful tips/facts I should know before I start??

It is a completely IDE system with a 16X CDROM.

mandrake should be pretty self explanatory, good luck. The only advice I have is don't get frusrated first time around when something doesnt work, just post here, it has helped me incredibly since I took the linux challenge.

The only suggestion that I have is for you to make sure that all your hardware is supported. It is really frustrating to pull your hair out trying to make something work and then find out that it's not supported.

My advice is to choose the custom install and make sure your video card works
or use lnx4win as a test b4 the full blown mandrake system
