I understand that most spyware/adware you probably get via activex controls or some webapp that you may have installed. I've only seen adware/spybot removal software for windows systems. I just delete all the cookies on a regular basis on my Linux boxes and have my security setting in my browsers set and a few other things.

Is there more I should do with regard to adware or spybots on my Linux computers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't know of any spyware for Linux is there? Security on my server is crucial to me. Knowing that spybots and the like can collect info from your system I wonder if there aren't already some written to accomadate unix/linux systems. Why shouldn't I be concerned on about spybots on Linux........?

there isn't really any that i'm aware of... and all the *nix browsers have cookie control so you are set there.
