I created a boot disk when i installed RH7.2, but it is corrupt. I can't boot from my MBR because i forgot to append some Kernel Params that i need to boot my system to the 'Append' line during my initial setup. I tried to boot with my boot disk, but it is bad. What do i do short of reinstalling linux? Can i boot of the cd just like a boot disk? If so, how?

aaahh.. several solutions, if the cd of redhat can boot and has a rescue option use that. I have no idea of redhat so excuse my ignorance.

Also you can use one of the floppies from bootfloppy.com but it would be wiser to use rawrite with an image file to create one of the thousand floppies that distributions have ready.

Anyway, I would go with the cd solution if it was available.
