burning iso image disks

Having problems during installation. When asked if i want to check disk for errors, i choose yes and afterward get message saying that I have errors on disk. I have tried reburning the disks, but just get the same message. Can anyone help me with this or guide me. I am beginning to think it may be the cd-rom drive itself. It is a older system with older hardware.

Have you checked the md5checksums? The iso images could be corrupted.
