I have setup the domain in the httpd.conf file.....where would I put it in DNS?

RedHat 6.2
RPM'd Apache..

Don't know if there is a specific config file for DNS in Virtual Domains, but have you tried /etc/resolv.conf?

If not, then you may find the answer in some of the other threads on the topic in the Web Serving or Networking forums.
