Work is also under way by those who conduct the programming for kazaa on the next major version. This will probably be version 3.0. The big change with this version will be support for multiple operation systems. Kazaa can currently only be downloaded for Windows. Presumably this means that they will support the Mac and possibly Linux for the first time since very early kazaa versions.


Yeah, that's what we need for linux... kazaa's overblown advertising, spyware, malware, and worms....

but we can hope that someone, somwhere will modify it again into KaZaA Lite.. that doesnt have apy/ad/mal-ware in it...

KaZaA Lite Ressurection is already available through BT.. so...

we dont need Kazza for Linux, the worms wont work, and nobody will use it.

Who needs Kazaa?? I think xMule and BitTorrent file sharing do the job just fine.
