When I Installed RedHat 6.0 I setup 2 partioions Native(/) and swap. All i can see is the native drive in the file manager.
How can I make the swap partition visible?
How can i add a new native partition so i can begin work with LFS?

use fidisk help "m" to get all the options andchange the partition idfor the partitions u have created.
that wud solve the problem
and then u must write the
partition table to disk

I can't see my swap partition in the file manager either. You not supposed to.

Just use 'fdisk -l /dev/hda' to see if the swap partition is there and the correct type of 82 and free' to see if it's active.

surprising that u dont have fdisk
u can even use diskdruid
btw if nothing works then while instaling again do change the partition ids using fdisk or diskdruid and write the partition table to disk

Have you tried as root?

I doubt a normal user would be able to access and use fdisk.
