has anyone been able to get their Voodoo 4 4500 card to work with Linux, if so what distribtion/drivers. My screen is dim but I'm not sure if it's XFree86 4.02 or my monitor (Dell E550).

Yup. SuSE 7.1 set it up without so much as a burp. I *think* it uses x 4.0.2 and a Glide (?) driver.

crap! my first choice was SuSE but i'm pissed they don't have an ISO! I ended up downloading the WHOLE 5gb 7.1 folder from their FTP, having it sit on my HD for a few days then deleting it. bah! I got the redhat 7.1 "wolverine" beta working with it but my screen is dim.

This should get you running under RedHat 7.0:
