Redhat 7 Toolbar problem

Redhat 7 Gnome - After an Xwindows crash and reboot my toolbar will not show open applications, diminished or open. For example; if I open up Netscape and diminish it, it's "gone". I cannot maximize the program by simply opening it back up via the toolbar/taskbar. Ideas how I can get this back? Thanks.

i had that same problem. you should add an applet.. I"m not in my linux, i'm at work on my *** system. But i know the problem, and you can add a process monitor of sorts to the thing as an applet
