Does anyone here have OpenBSD and have they had their system hacked? I ask this because apparently a lot of Linux users have. A book i read said Linux systems are a favorate target in the script kiddie community.

Also does anyone know if a nVIDIA GeForce 3 card will work with OpenBSD? If they are not compatible, do I need to install drivers or something to make it work with GeForce 3?

Linux is a favorite target, mainly because it's free, and it runs on any x86 PC. A lot of exploits that are released are coded to work under Linux, although if you read the advisories and the source code for the exploits, you may notice that they work in some BSDs as well. OpenBSD has it's share of security problems. Check out http://www.securityfocus.com for more information. However, since OpenBSD has the secure by default installation, and the development team constantly grooms the OS for security holes, it's often the case that the security hole is fixed months before it's discovered.

As for your nVidia problem, I can't really say. Perhaps check http://www.openbsd.com and look under what devices are supported. OpenBSD is meant as a server OS which means that it might not have much desktop usability but it excels tremendously as a server.
