CUPS: no jobs all are aborted

Hi I'm running Redhat Linux 9 My printer is a HP Deskjet 870Cse and I'm using the hpijs driver. The problem is whenever I try to print something nothing happens. So I go to http://loclhost:631/jobs and nothing's there but if I go to completed jobs it says that the job I just sent is aborted when I try to restart the job it says "client-error-not-possible

I've never come across that error message and I don't know that much about cups as usually my printer configuration works the first time (lucky I guess).

Have you followed the Redhat 9.0 online documentation on setting up printers/cups?
