Hi,
I'm running Mandrake 7.2 I removed a SCSI hdd with SCSI cdrw mounted in EXT
case, the hdd had a linux ext2(suse6.2) & swap partitions, it only boots to
maintance mode(it asks for root p/w).

Root partition is on HDA3 & another swap partition on hda7.

How do I fix this what conf. file do I edit. Thanks.

One thing to check and possibly remove the references to the SCSI drives from is /etc/fstab

Try that and see if it helps.

I just put a # in front of scsi drives in fstab & it boot to KDE login.
Thanks :)
