I recently, by accident, deleted the extended partition on my hard drive and would like to know if anybody knows how to delete Linux Mandrake from DOS. All I need to know are the commands and I can do it. If you could tell me that'd be great! Thanx!

Delete Mandrake from DOS? Huh? Do you mean that it still boots up with the Mandrake boot screen? If so, fun
fdisk /mbr
from DOS.
Good luck

not sure that'll do all that's needed; then again, it may.
if it doesn't give you back all of your drive, use the mandrake partitioner on the cd: delete any partitions you don't want (or change them to dos partitions), save the changes and exit the install. then try fdisk again, followed by a format.

Check at the big post down farther on the board. It describes how to delete Linux off your computer. (COMPLETELY delete.)
