I am considering purchasing a DVD Burner but I am curious what you all use to burn DVD's, mainly i am interested in making backup copies of video dvd's and playstation2 games. I know that k3b has support for data dvd's but i haven't really seen much in the way for software to burn video dvd's underlinux. thanks for the input guys.

Im currently using NERO 6.0 Ultra Edition
It seems to be able to do everything, including what your after and is nicely laid out in one package/launcher for you to access everything in one go...
I would reccomend it :)

Well I am new to linux, and thought that maybe it would have run ok on one of the windows emulators like WINE or WINX
But heh, never mind :D
Its good software tho, so maybe someone should work on getting it to work on linux :p

Have a look through these freshmeat.net search results for 'dvd video' (http://freshmeat.net/search/?q=dvd+video§ion=projects&x=0&y=0) as you should find some to your liking.

Did they ask for source to al the programs?
