DSL USB modem (Alcatel SpeedTouch)

I read some messages about this, but I never found any answer to my question :-)
How can I make this modem work with linux ???

If u use this modem or if u can help me, please mail me : I don't know how to install and configure it with linux (I have the SuSE 6.4 version)

You will need drivers because it's USB. Look in alcatel's website to see if the model you have has some. If it doesn't, you are screwed. You'll have to find an ethernet solution, for that you'll have to contact your ISP or telco.

Thanx, I found the good driver but now I have to update the kernel, ...
