I recently switched from using kde to using Ximian gnome, which I think is great and I like the red carpet function but it does not let you manager all of your rpm installed programs like the rpm manager on kde.
Does there exist a program which will do this for ximian gnome?
try gnorpm, it should be installed if gnome is installed

I've found that Red Carpet is a very complete program. You can manage your locally installed rpms, as well as install other local ones. I like Red Carpet so much infact, i've forgone the Ximian gnome installation and installed Red Carpet only. To me, it's much more powerful than Gnorpm, since it automatically downloads packages to fufil dependencies for other packages. Gnorpm doesn't do this automatically...
