I am using Winlinux. The folder I have it in, D:\linux, is 800-some odd meg (as reported in windows). The folder is the only folder on D:\.
But, windows reports that D:\ has only 20 meg left, where the drive is 2 gb! I need help quick! please....

800MB. Windows says 20MB left. Where's the 2GB?
I'm not following what you are asking. Could you elaborate a little more?
You will get a quicker reponse if you clearly explain your problem with all the pertinent details. Then you may be able to get 'Help Quick'.
The folder contents is 800mb, not the entire drive. Not familiar with Winlinux, but could it be that it creates a hidden swap file or swap space outside the root folder? BTW, try Slackware, you can run it on a DOS partition with UMSDOS and you'll have much better luck with it. Not only is Slackware one of the best distros you can run, but the user base is huge and potential for support much better. Luck!
