i've been trying to run some programs...the quake binaries...i've downloaded them from several places...& they include like 3 different files...one for the opengl, one for svga console, one for x11, and when i try to run them:

./glquake

it says:

bash: ./glquake: No such file or directory

when obviously it's there...all of the files do this...why do they do this if they're there??? doesn't make sense...thanks

Is the executable bit set on the file? Try chmod 555 ./glquake

Are they zip files that need to be unzipped and installed?

Please list the files giving their full name and extensions and you should get even more definitive answers.

Oh yes, I forgot to ask what distro you were running. This can get you even more specific answers!

Don't worry some one will have your answer! :)
