Hi,

I don't know if this is the correct place for this, but here is my question.

I just purchased a dedicated server. the company said it would come with WHM/cPanel pre-installed. Well it is installed but not configured!! Anyway I have know idea how to do this. At the very least I need to know how to point my domain name to it and setup dsn for my domain so i can point all my other domains using that. For example my domain - test.com need to point to my server (I only have the IP ranges of it), then I need to set ns1.test.com, ns2.test.com so I can use then to point the rest of my domain to the server.

I hope this make sense. I had a look at the WHM/cPanel docs, but they require good working knowledge of linux.... which I do not have :(

Any help would be great,
Stuart

hosted services (http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Domain-7.html)

Also, the other howtos on the site are good for securing your network, setting up a firewall, etc.
