Hey all...
Running WineX 3.2, and a lil thing irks the crap outa me...
WineX is subscription based. You pay a fee per month to use what a whole host of people put their sweat and blood into.
Wine isn't subscription based, and is responsible for many spinoff projects such as WineX.
Fundamentally and at their core, they are the same program (?), WineX garners support for copy protected games, and has some proprietary stuff in the gaming direction.
So why when i install a program such as AudioGrabber (just an example) using WineX, it wont run (!), but when I use Wine to open it, it runs fine (minus the cd-rom issue I have...haha...never fixed Wine after I got Winex)
So...i guess this is a long winded post devoted to the question: Why can I install something perfectly in Winex, but Winex can't run it, when Wine can?
