Suse 7.1

Hi!

Is it possible to download Suse 7.1 cd-image from somewhere? Suse ftp only inclides only files and folders and is not very easy to use. I would need image of bootable install-cd.

hmmm, haven´t looked myself, but there is a site calle www.linuxiso.org, (http://www.linuxiso.org,) have you looked there?

U wont find what you are searching there . They have only an live evalutiuon which will not install . It is bootable but it is running only from cd .
And for what i have heard there wont be a iso from 7.1 .
The only way is then the ftp install ...
but that worked after a couple of tries good with me .

Nah... I don't trust ftpinstalls, so I will need cd's. Shame that nobody has distributed that iso... Oh well, maybe I'll just have to order it and pay for it.

SuSE 7.1 is more than worth its price (and weight) just for the excellent manuals you get and the amount of software. If you haven't got broadband connection to the web then a self-inclusive distro liek that and boxed really well with goodies is the way to go!
