This is totally bizarre and I googled around and could not find an answer.
Got a RH 9.0 box and running Firebird 0.7 and I cannot add new websites to my favorites.
I've rebooted, but it did not change anything.
Any ideas on this one.

Let's try the basics first... Did you try every method for adding a bookmark?
-Press "CTRL + D" keys. to auto-add one?
-Did you try "CTRL+B" to open the book-mark manager and add one that way?
-Click the bookmarks menu in the top of the windows and click "add a bookmark"
-right click on the page and click the "Bookmark this Page" button
in an extreme case you could find the folder where the link are stored (if there even is one, I'm just taking a guess) and manually add them. (creat link to the URL).
I use Mozilla so I don't know if what I mentioned abover applies to you.. but I see that no one has replied so I decided to give it a go. If what I said doesn't help let me know... I'll download FireBird and see how else I can help you.
I remember at a certain time for some unknown reason I had the same thing, when I pressed CTRL+D pages wouldn't bookmark, I has to click the "Bookmarks" menu and click "Bookmark this Page"

I've tried all that you mentioned and none have worked.
It doesn't matter, I'm blowing this RH box away in the next few days and going with Slackware. Nothing against RH, its been fun.
thanks
