Ok, so I have two questions here - my dilema

1. Where is the 'front' key for Linux. When I am using my UNIX workstation at work I have a key on the keyboard that when I press it it moves the background window to the forefront and toggles them as I press. Is there an equivalent one for Linux.

2. Also is there a key or icon that I can press that immidately show me the desktop? Kinda like the desktop button in Windows?

I just met this really neat guy, is name is LINUX OS :-)

You can set a key to this in GNOME by setting the option Raise Obscured Window, otherwise lower in the Keyboard shortcuts. It can be found in your Applications menu, under Desktop Preferences.

You can also set a key in that same dialog to show you the desktop. It's set to Ctrl + Alt + d in my setup.

Of course if you're using KDE what I just told you is perfectly useless. ;)
