I added a six gig drive to my red hat 7.2 box to replace a 3 gig drive and I try to move the files from the 3 to the 6 and It errors out wether I do it from a terminal or from kde 3.0 or ximians latest. I am logged in as root. I even went to the extreme as doinr a chmod 777 on each file and folder and still nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanks, in advance....
:D

from the konquerer file manager I get: Could not make directory /mnt/share/[filename]
From the terminal I get: mv: cannot create directory `./mnt/share': No such file or directory.
I found I can perform a move to shre on from but not share under /mnt which is hdb1.
