Everybuddy, Gaim, and LICQ dont work

everybuddy doesnt do anything when i start it, GAIM appears to work fine, but people dont recieve the messages i send. in LICQ, i typed the wrong UIN in the beginning by mistake, and theres no way to change it. :( at least nutscrape works :rolleyes:

erase $HOME/.licq ... then restart licq and u can enter in new UIN...

dunno about gaim/ebuddy ... dont use those

You can also look in ~/.licq/owner.uin and change things to your hearts content. (~ = /home)

ok thanks. i guess i just wont use aim on linux :-/ i use it more than icq :(

dont give up so fast... try another aim client... such as
http://kitclient.sourceforge.net

or search freshmeat.net for any others...

AIM Express worked fine for me in linux with netscape. If nothing else, you can always us it.
