zesty wants to uninstall it, i dont know how, and he thinks it will take too long to get a reply here. how do you do it

ok.....mabye i know how, but if zesty wants to stay with the bad side (winders) then he needs to find out how himself...can someone besides me post how to?

I'll take a wild guess and say "zesty" used a Windows utilty like Partition Magic to create his Linux partitions. If so, just load up PM and re-format the Linux partition.

he used fips. when i installed linux for him i put lilo on the mbr i know how you boot up with a boot disk and you use the command fdisk....oops im not allowed to say the rest

oh and he can reinstall winders......but he has done that like 6 times in the last 5 weeks...ive done it twice.

You want Windows back? Just boot from a (Linux) bootdisk and use fdisk to delete the Linux partition(s). The rest is just installing Windows. Repartition, format, install.

Just reformat your linux partitions back to windows partitions and then once you've gotten that done put in your win98 start up disk and then type fdisk /mbr to get rid of lilo which will erase your master boot records and replace it. I'm not sure but i think if you used grub instead of lilo you should still fdisk /mbr but double check first...
