bugzilla login question

Any Bugzilla users out there? I'm using Bugzilla 2.16.3.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the way I see it, after successfully logging on, I should not be asked for my user name and password again unless I try to access some feature for which I am not entitled.

In my case, I log on with the all of the admin privileges, but I am continuously asked to login again each time I try to edit preferences, bugs, search for bugs, etc. (pretty much anything I do, I'm continuously asked to login.) This is extremely annoying and I don't think my users will want to use Bugzilla if this problem isn't fixed.

Any ideas?

I'm using v2.14., in some situations I found it was a cookie issue as I normally have mine web browsers set to not accept them.

As for changing your preferences, it is a security feature according to Bugzilla's documentation.

I do have cookies enabled. In fact, when I'm prompted for my password, it does remember the username and password. So all I have to do is click the logon button.
