i486 Distro?

Is there a Distro with i486 extensions? I have Mandrake 7.0 with it, but wondering if there were more. Funny it went from i386 to i586....

ur right, most distribution's have their binaries optimized for either i586 or i386.... (such as mandrake)

you best bet is to choose something optimized for i386...(such as slackware)

also, make sure ur kernel is optimized for 486, there should be an option on the 'processor type' section for the configuration of kernel

Yeah, I know that. (Slack is probably one of the best distros out there) I have Mandrake 7.0 with the i486 extensions, I was wondering if there were others out there with the same. Hey, can you answer my question below???
