Sound Card Drivers

I am truely a child of Microsoft. I have a lot of experience working in Windows, but I am new to Linux. I have installed Red Hat 8.0 in a dual boot with Windows XP.
My question is how can I update the drivers to my sound card. The card is detected in the Hardware manager, but when I attempt to detect the sound card it says no sound cards detected.
How do I activate or use my sound card?

Look on the Redhat Network, there is a hardware list, look at the community contributed entries. See what it says about the sound card. If rpm's are available, you can usually download them and then click on them to open the installer.
