How could I go about switching my ext2(what I using now) to RieserFS? Could I do this without losing any on the data that I have on my PC now.
Starbucks' System:
RedHat Linux 7.0
X11 4.0.2
2.4.1 Kernel
Geforce 2
224MB of Ram

You need to free a partition on which to copy your current data while you convert the existing partition. This should be feasible if you installed on multiple partitions (like one for home, one for usr, ...).
Of course you also need Reiserfs support in your kernel.
You might need to backup your home directory and reinstall linux if you don't have enough free space ...

Okay I could understand something like that... but this is what I want to ask. What tools do I use to do it. If anything I'll wait for the next RedHat before I do something like that. The same with my friend and his Mandrake 7.2 install.
