This isn't really a big deal I don't think, but Linux sees my two hardrives as hde and hdf, rather than hda and hdb. It has never caused any problems, but I was just wondering the reason behind this...

Do you have a Raid motherboard or a ata66/100 controller? That will do it.

It sounds like they are on the secondary IDE. That might explain that. If not, I have no clue. :D
