X Screen Lock

Playing with xscreensaver and locking the screen with it, and having a small problem. When x is 'locked' I can ctrl+alt+f1 to the console where I launched X, pres ctrl-c, killing x, and giving completel access the console, logged in and eveything. Is there any way to prevent this?

Are you sure it is actually locked? If this is the case I suggest you contact the developers.

I found a way to get around it. Can just go startx &, then ctrl+alt+f<n> back to the console, log out, then alt+f7 to get back into x without having to be logged in on the console.
