I'm not quit sure if it is possible by i would like to create some sort of script that runs every time I boot. The purpose of the script is to log on to a server via telnet, type a username, password and furthermore type one. This is all due to the fact that I have to log on to my ISp every time I go online.

Moreover, if the aforementioned is possible is it the also possible to use another script that does the exact opposite, when I shut down.

I hope someone can help me :)

I would think you should be able to do that.

Why not just write a script and give it a try or are you looking for assistance in the actual writing of the script?

Have you had a look through the Programming, Script Depot forum?

I have never written a script for anything before so a little guidance could be very appreciated. I have had a look around for a “telnet script” but was unable to find something of use. I might be looking in the wrong place and would appreciate any help I can get.
