I'm in the process of trying to get SVGATextMode goin, and there is no available TNT2 chipset. Would it be safe to use the TNT chipset? Or is there a patch for TNT2?

I wanted a bigger resolution and tried it and it made my screen screwy. lilo has a function that allows you to change text rez. edit your /etc/lilo.conf file and add the line (near the top) 'vga=ask' whenever you boot your computer it will ask u to chose a rez and you can play around with what you like (i use vga=4, it slightly larger, and the font still looks good) Bradmont 02-28-2001, 01:18 AM Cool, thanks. Pierre Lambion 02-28-2001, 03:10 AM I tried a bit svgatextmode but drop it as soon as I discovered vga=791 put in lilo.conf! I have a TNT2 in this mode is working nice.
