I use Earthlink.net as my ISP and I recently installed Red Hat 7.2 on my machine. EarthLink usernames use the syntax of username@earthlink.net for the username and the password is the same as a usual password. So I setup my dialup using rp3 and attempted to dial-in. It dials and the other end picked up and then I got a msg about CHAP authentication failed and the modem hung up. Anyone have any idea bout this?... :(

What exactly are you typing?
Have you thought about using something besides fetchmail? Like kmail or mozilla or evolution?
