ssh from all over

first of all, i appologize, this question may have a bit of a windows emphasis...
Does anyone know of a good program to access ssh for my computer? i looked at the putty.exe program for windows, but it puts stuff in the registry, and due to the nature of my job on campus, i would probably use this program off of a disk or network share to access my computer in my dorm room through ssh. any ideas or programs for me?

Only one I've really used for Windows is PuTTy. I suppose you could head over to www.openssh.org and check out what they've got under the Windows section.
