internet mail client

I need something that I can use (like Outlook Express) in order to transfer mail without always having to log into hotmail and typing the address. Any suggestions? I am behind a firewall on a LAN. If that helps.

I don't believe that there's anything that will log into Hotmail for you. The only reason the feature comes with Outlook is because they're both owned by M$. If you're looking for a good mail reader, try "Evolution" at http://www.ximian.com/
