Help! While "anaconda" is running, I receive a "signal 7" message that kills my installation and forces me to reboot. I don't think I have any hardware problems, so what am I doing wrong?

I had a hell of a time figuring out why I couldn't compile my kernel. Posted in many newsgroups with no success until someone sad it is hardware related and lower your cpu speed. So my original 450 MHz was lowered to 400 MHz. And the kernel compiled straight away, and every time after that. Installation stresses hardware a lot, small problems show up straight away usually. I hope it helps. justlinux.com
