New gfx card advice

After a year of repeated failure to get a functioning driver for my ATI Radeon 7000 with TV-out, I'm giving up on it and have decided to buy a new card (nVidia).
Can anyone recommend a reasonably-priced card (50-75 euros) with single/double monitor support and TV-out which is certain to work with Mandrake 9.1 and will give 2d/3d acceleration without recompiling the default kernel?

you don't need to recompile the linux kernel to install any nvidia card. in fact, they all use the same drivers - which are customized kernel modules.
