Hey guys it's been a long while since I last posted here. Hopefully I'll hang around more often, but I need some suggestions.
I need a good mp3/CD/internet radio player for the console. The only I tried was mp3blaster but they dont play CDs nor stream music (from what I know). So do you guys have any recommendations? Thanks

mplayer. I don't know if it can stream music, probably depends on which protocal you'd be using to do that.

I'm looking all over the mplayer site. Does it have a console interface? or is it all by command?

I don't really know what you mean by a console interface, I assuming you mean letters for buttons, sliders, etc. If that's true then no. As far as I know you just type mplayer foo.mp3 and away you go.

http://mpg321.sourceforge.net/ plays mp3s right in console. Enjoy.

PyTone is a nice curses jukebox. It can use pyogg and pyvorbis as backend or mpg123 or even xmms. So, there might be a way to paly streaming in it. I never did however.
