Where Can I get an fdisk to make ext2 Partition

I know this is an extremely new b question but I am stuck. Any hints you can give on installing linux (im using vector linux) to a 486 with no os on it would be helpfull too

Most distros should allow you to partition your drive during the install. Try the expert install mode.

Have you checked the website for Vector Linux as they may have a install guide?
