Hi,

Thought that would get your attention!! :D

1) Any little program that can be added to the system to give the mouse that ability to auto select (like travel to OK buttons instantly) This is a feature in Windows that I really have come to love.

2) Any program out there that is similar to MailWasher?? MailWasher is program that will download all headers (allows for multiple accounts) and then give the ability to delete and bounce spam from the server.

Thanks much!! :)

Richard ;)

dunno about the mouse part, check freshmeat for mouse gesturing software i guess, thats more dependent on the desktop environment or window manager you use

for the mail, i suggest bayes filtering it works much much better, you can set up a proxy with "popfile" from sourceforge its super easy, or from what i have heard the new mozilla mail clients have built in bayes filtering

For 2, Mozilla supports multiple accounts, and a neat little feature that does what you want is under Mail Settings for the account, you can specify, under disk space, only download files smaller than 1K. This basically gives you only the headers, and you can click on the ones you want to download the full email. Simply specify delete from server when deleted locally and there you go.

I have this for my wife when she emails brochures to her committee members. Amazing how many change their email address, then complain when they no longer get mail. Anyway, it always results in ~50 returned mails, with the attachment. The above makes it easy and fast to get rid of them.

Don't know about 1, but I am sure it exists or someone is working on it. Might try the KDE/Gnome/etc mailing lists.
