I got a compaq prolenia 5100 for free (w/o a hd) and i boosted the ram up to about 80mb (+or-) and i'm planning to run linux and olny linux on it. I have Slackware 7.1, mandrake 7.1 (what i run on my main pc) and a older verion of caldera (i got it from linux for dummies book for $20) I don't know what i'm gonna do with the computer and i don't know what distro i should run on it (i'm thinking slack because it can run on a 386, compared to mandrake's k5/pentium and above) I think the cpu speed is a 100mhz pentium (it's a socket 5, I don't know how to get the serial number to find it's exact specs) What should I use?
