XF86Config for s3 trio3d

Hello,

with my s3 trio3d using XFree86 3.3.6, I can only go until 8-bit, anybody here using s3 trio3d (and use a higher depth color) could share their XF86Config file? so I could refer to your config file and try to do something with my config.

BTW, my monitor is Viewsonic E771
H sync: 30-70
V sync: 50-120

Yes I am using the same video card, what you need to do is run XFdrake as root from the first console (ALT-CTRL-F1)

Set up a:

Noninterlaced monitor

then choose

Unlisted Card
SVGA
800*600
16bit

That should work

thanks for your quick reply, BTW, if I'm not mistaken thats a mandrake util that you're saying, I'm using slackware 7.1. Would you mind to post your config here, only the monitor and video card part.

It works! but is it possible to push it to 1024x768 @ 16 bit, I've been trying but I can't get it, I would be very happy if someone done it and can share his config file.
