Good da; I did not notice that my cable was not plugged into the computer. How do I restart network service without having to reboot. I'm using peanut 8.3.

Is their a simple how to rebuilt the kernel for newbies.

'/etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart' should work

or

/etc/rc.d/init.d/network stop
then
/etc/rc.d/init.d/network start
