a GIMPy Question

dude...
i just made the most wicked banner on earth! (using the GIMP) but it wont save right :-( ive tried every extension i know (like .png, .jpg, and .gif) and none of them will save the pic as it is or even near how it is! what do i do???

was this an orginal graphic or one that you modified? the reason I ask is becuse if you modified the graphic what was the orginal extension? I belive the default is tiff

A workaround would be fullscreen the pic then take a screenshot then crop the image out.
