I have AOLs Instant Messenger but is there a IM program for MSN/Hotmail users? I'm currently running Mandrake 8.1...

Gaim has plugins to support just about any chat client.

where's the msn plugin for Gaim? Also, once installed will it fetch my buddies from the server or is that wishfull thinking?

I like ccmsn but I can't seem to get it to run from an application link after browsing to the file link even on terminal mode...how can I get this to run from my link...anyone?

Why noy give everybuddy (http://www.everybuddy.com) a try. It comes with Mandrake. You can then use MSN, Yahoo, ICQ and AOL all at the same time.

Open up gaim, go to the tools menu, then plugins. Click "load" or "add" plugin, I forget what it is. A list of them should appear. It's called libmsn.so or something along those lines.

It was included with my installation, I don't know if it's included by default in the gaim package.

I met the current leader of the Everybuddy development at the local InstallDay. It was :cool:
