RH9, GATOS X11 drivers for my ATI All-in-Wonder 128, KDE 3.1...
I installed xawdecoder, zapping and a couple of other proggies to test the tv-card abilities of my box after going through the GATOS steps of updating my X server
(http://gatos.sourceforge.net/)
well, all seems ok. zapping displays correctly, although it doesnt want to give me any sound (?), xawtv and xawdecoder seem to give audio and video excellent...EXCEPT:
in either of the xaw proggies, the displayed video-feed will not resize appropriately. It stays extremely small, in the top-left corner of the window and even if i go full-screen, all of my display is black except for the top-left area of about 200px. X 150 px. or so.
I have edited the rc file to my wit's end with no results whatsoever.
I believe that I understand the reason it is so small, this apparently is the default size of satellite/NTSC and some PAL transmissions. They are supposed to be resized by the client decoder, but xaw wont.
ANY IDEAS?
anything that could help is greatly appreciated!
peace:
