I've got to be missing something. My understanding of EMACS search-replace string is that it works like this:

M-x
type in the string i'm searching for (hit enter)

type in what i'm replacing it with (hit enter)

now, when i do it.
M-x
type in the string i'm searching for (told i have "no match" even though i have that file open and i'm editing it right now.)

I'm assuming its not looking in the file i have open or....?!? :mad:
